Point guard Sean Biernacki has signed and is returning to the Rockhampton Rockets for the 2024 season. Biernacki joined the Rockets program midway through 2023 and Rockhampton were keen to retain his services for the 2024 season.
Coach Neal Tweedy said of Biernacki’s return, “We are very excited to bring Sean back to the Rockets. He is an elite competitor, tenacious defender, and a very effective offensive player, who fits the identity of the Rockets program. Sean’s intensity and proven work ethic will have a direct impact on the performance and personality of our young team.”
Sean is excited about the 2024 season ahead and said, “It’s great to be returning to the club for my second season and I am looking forward to the season ahead. The lads have been getting to work during the offseason and I can’t wait to get everyone back on court in preparation for the 2024 season. It’s wonderful to play in front of the Rockhampton community, which is so passionate in supporting our teams.”
