The CQ University Rockhampton Cyclones are pleased to announce that home grown talent Tai Wakelin-Gray has resigned for the 2023 NBL1 season.
Coach Drew Fenton said, “Tai is the type of ‘nuts and bolts’ player that every team needs. She does a little bit of everything for the team and gives her all every time she steps on the floor. We will be looking for Tai to give assistance off the bench by crashing the offensive boards and playing great defence. Tai is a local Rocky junior who has worked hard on her game and progressed through the pathways to NBL1, which inspires younger girls around the club to work hard.”
The Cyclones will tip off their season against Mackay on the 24th of March in Mackay.
