Cyclones Sign American Import Gracie Stugart for 2026 NBL1 North Season
CQ University Rockhampton Cyclones are excited to re-sign Akaysha Muggeridge for the 2026 season. A proud Rockhampton product, Akaysha brings energy, skill and experience to the squad, and we’re looking forward to seeing her back in Cyclones colours this season.
Akaysha states "I’m really excited for the season ahead and proud to represent my hometown of Rockhampton in the Cyclones uniform. Growing up here, it was always a dream of mine to play college basketball and one day play for the Cyclones. After having the opportunity to play college ball, being able to come home and represent the Cyclones means so much to me, and I feel very blessed to be living that dream. It’s been great being around the girls during preseason and I’m really looking forward to the season ahead"
Cylcones Coach Drew Fenton "Looking forward to working with Akaysha this year, she brings that scoring punch and defensive intensity that the group will need in 2026. A local product who will get her chance to play a major role this season, exciting times for Akaysha and the Rocky fan base."
