Cyclones Sign American Import Gracie Stugart for 2026 NBL1 North Season

The Rockhampton Cyclones are excited to announce the signing of American point guard Gracie Stugart for the 2026 NBL1 North Season.

Stugart arrives in Rockhampton following a remarkable League MVP season in the QSL with the Toowoomba Mountaineers, where she averaged close to a triple-double across 24 games. Her standout season included several individual performances, highlighted by:

    •    A 33-point, 13-rebound, 10-assist triple-double

    •    A 40-point, 17-rebound, 11-assist triple-double

    •    A dominant near quadruple-double performance with 20 points, 14 rebounds, 18 assists and 9 steals

During the 2025 QSL1 season, Stugart produced elite numbers across all statistical categories:

2025 QSL1 Season Averages

    •    Points Per Game: 23.94

    •    Rebounds Per Game:     11.24

    •    Assists Per Game: 9.18

    •    Steals Per Game: 4.53

    •    Minutes Per Game: 39:29

Cyclones Head Coach Drew Fenton said Stugart has been on the club’s radar for some time.

“The Cyclones coaching staff have closely followed Gracie’s development, having the opportunity to watch her compete live and work with her throughout last year,” Fenton said.

“She has consistently demonstrated that she is not only a high-quality player, but also a fantastic individual who aligns strongly with the Cyclones’ culture and style of play.”

Stugart is a versatile two-way player who makes an impact at both ends of the floor. Known for her relentless defensive pressure and high-energy approach, she competes with intensity for the full 40 minutes. Offensively, she is a strong playmaker with excellent court vision and a natural ability to read the game, making her a valuable addition to the Cyclones lineup.

Cyclones fans can look forward to an exciting season ahead, with Stugart set to bring energy, skill, and competitiveness to both the team and the NBL1 North competition.
