NBL1 Rockhampton CQ University Cyclones Sign Shanique Lucas

The CQ University Rockhampton Cyclones are excited to welcome another key addition to the roster ahead of the 2026 NBL1 North season. The club is pleased to welcome Shanique to the Cyclones program for the 2026 season and looks forward to her contribution both on and off the court. Her addition supports the club’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the playing group and continuing to build positive connections within the Rockhampton basketball community.

Shanique: I want to firstly thank God for this opportunity to play for Rockhampton. I’m very excited to get to work with Drew and the team. Building relationships is really important to me, and I’m looking forward to doing so with the team and the town that so proudly supports the club. I’ve heard a lot of great things about the fan base in Rocky, and I hope we grow the sport for young women even more this season.

Coach Drew Fenton: We are looking forward to Shanique joining the Cyclones in 2026. She is an aggressive wing and lockdown defender that we need.
