The Schwarz Excavations Rockhampton Rockets have signed Cameron Goldfinch to their roster for the upcoming Mitsubishi NBL1 season.  Goldfinch is coming off the back of championship success with the Ipswich Force in 2023, where he averaged 11 points and 4 rebound per game during the season.

Cameron said on signing with the Rockets, “I am extremely excited to be a Rocket for the 2024 NBL1 North Season. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a respected program and work towards my aspirations of returning to the NBL. I look forward to giving my all for the Rockhampton community, on the court and in the community."

Coach Neal Tweedy is extremely happy with the signing and said, “In the modern game you need 3 and D athletes and we have been fortunate to land a player of Cam’s talent.  Cam’s ability to space the floor with his shooting as well as being a lock down defender at the wing position is going to be crucial for us being successful this year. Although still young himself, he will be one of our leaders within the playing group and will bring his championship experience from last year to our program.”

Cam has arrived in Rockhampton and is looking forward to meeting the basketball community and getting to work with the Rockets.
